Bart Ehrman's ignorance

In Chapter 5 page 164 of his book "Did Jesus Exist" under the heading Ancient view of Messiah Bart says "The first thing to state, and to state emphatically, is that no Jew ever thought the messiah would be God.
This is Christian theology with no support in ancient Jewish thinking. The messiah was not God. He was one appointed by God or sent by God. There is only one God, and the messiah is the one God has “anointed” to be his special representative and to do his special work".
Now to be very honest and very blunt it doesn't matter what the "Ancient Jewish Thinking" was regarding the Messiah. What matters is what the Hebrew Bible (OT) says about the Messiah.
And to demolish Bart's ignorance or more accurately put Bart's hypocrisy only one Verse is enough from the Old Testament.
Isaiah 6:9 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
This Child that is prophecied by Isaiah will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
What other proof do we need? Just because the "Ancient Jewish" or even their contemporaries fail to see the TRUTH in the Bible doesn't mean we Christians are inventing our own truth.
