Bart D Ehrman doesn't really need any introduction but for those who don't know him, his is a famous New Testament scholar and has written quite a lotta books on the historical Jesus. By his own admission he is an agnostic, as a teenager he accepted JESUS in his life and was really passionate about his faith and that led him to study more about JESUS and the Bible and as he joined seminary and started learning about how we got our New testament manuscripts he got more and more sceptic about his faith and his quest to learn more about manuscript tradition has left him with more doubts and more scepticism. Today he is an established New Testament Scholar and has abandoned his once-beloved faith completely.

His book "Misquoting Jesus" has done some serious damage to the young Christian minds who after being confronted with the "crude facts" that there are some where around 300,000 to 400,000 textual variations in the New Testament alone has made them abandon their faith.

I have written a chapter wise review of the book and I will be posting those reviews so stay tuned.

PS: I have the highest regard for Professor Bart Ehrman as a scholar, I personally have no reluctance accepting the facts cited by professor Bart. However I strongly disagree with his interpretation of those facts.
