When I say top 5, I mean the best 5 books to start off with.
1. Mere Christianity by C.S Lewis:
It deals with morality, philosophy, and a great insight with a new perspective to look at our Faith. Concept of TRINITY in whole new way.
PS: of all the list of books suggested by our great apologists Mere Christianity has always made it to their list.

2. Case for Christ by Lee Strobel:
Lee Strobel once an atheist, interviews the top scholars of every field viz, Archeology, Ancient History, Psychology, Textual Criticism and so on. Lee confronts them with the toughest questions. Lee himself is a journalist covering the criminal proceedings. That gives him the ability to articulate the toughest questions a sceptic can ask. Case for Christ is a must.

3. Cold Case Christianity by J. Warner Wallace: This book gives a completely different approach to apologetics. This book puts you in the shoe of a homicide detective who over the years have developed a critical way of approaching the evidences and finally nabbing down the culprit. This covers a wide range of evidences that we would not even think of, evidences from both inside and outside Bible.

4. No God but one Allah or Jesus by Nabeel Qureshi: In this book Nabeel compares the foundation and fundamental doctrines of Islam and Christianity.
Comparing the doctrinal issues, historical beginnings of both faith, scientific blunders of Qur'an, Life of Jesus and Mohammad and so on.
This book provides everything one needs to know about the differences between Islam and Christianity and the comparison will definitely help choose the One True G-D.
